This is the fifth book of the series, SLATER BROTHERS, and there's only two more left before it ends and it makes me sad because I'm going to miss them ;( but I'm also happy that all of the Slater brothers get their women (all of them are stubborn and not afraid to put their men in their place when needed ;)).


This story is about Alannah and Damien, who have a rocky past, starting from their senior year in high school, where Damien hurt Alannah and years have passed by and she's still hurt by Damien's actions... she makes stupid decisions (read this book and find out) but as time and good friends (especially Bronagh and Kane) give wise words, she starts to realize that it's time to move on from the past and forgive.

Damien has been through a lot and has changed through the years away from his brothers and friends, but that was good for him because it's helped him mature, bury some things from his past and realize what his past actions with Alannah has hurt her...


Their journey is rocky and there are twists and turns, emotions discovered and exposed, secrets revealed, redemption, and forgiveness given <3 :)

I can't wait for the next book, ALANNAH, and the last one, BROTHERS, which will be bittersweet since it's the last story for all of them together <3 of course, L.A. Casey did mention that the Slater kids will have their own stories so I'm not completely devastated... I'm anxious and stoked to read about the Slater kids and we'll be able to see our favorite couples again ;)
