Jax and his Mila <3 I've always been a huge fan of Alexa Riley and her hot, steamy, instant love short stories and the long ones too ;) and again I wasn't disappointed by reading her latest, "Pretty Girl". This was an amazing story, at least for me because it portrayed how you can have it all; the fame, the money, the people around you that act as though they're truly your friends but aren't, and at the end, you'll feel all alone and that's how Mila felt. He and Maggie were high school sweethearts and he thought they would last forever until one day she disappeared. So it's obvious he doesn't want to be hurt again, especially with his baby girl now with him... meaning there's a slight push and pull from Patrick until he can't stay away anymore from Carsen (neither can she) and start sleeping together, no labels and no attachments. Cross and his Kallie, finally together again <3 <3  This is a second chance romance novella for Cross (Machlan Gibson's best friend) and Kallie. I always thought there was something intriguing about Cross and his ways... Ian and his Leo <3 Some say that opposites may attract and in this case, it happens with Leo and Ian...even if it did take many years for Ian to finally realize what was in front of him all long but at least he opened his eyes, yay! Lucas and his Cara <3 I enjoyed this book so much :) Cora and Lucas's chemistry was smoking HOT and I loved his possessiveness over Cara and his protectiveness over her well-being, not only physically, but also mentally and emotionally. He was definitely drool worthy and dream worthy alpha male that any girl would want to have <3 :) This is a story with a little bit of everything and I loved how we could feel what each character was projecting towards us, especially in the sad moments and trust me, I was crying my eyes out in the sad parts, but eventually with time, the love of her life's support and some angels from above watching over them, these two were able to overcome the sad to go their happy ending and I loved the epilogue so much!! Just going to give you a hint, it was funny as hell and had me cracking up so hard because one of Cara's children was so funny :) S. Luke and his Kylie This was a good, short story with awesome main characters and the dogs, Rosie & Kozmo were funny as hell, some of their antics made me laugh so much that I have to admit I almost peed my pants, lol :) I got to say that Luke was a hot and dreamy and complex alpha male. He seemed one thing on the outside to people but once you get to know him, just like Kylie, it's the complete opposite of what you would expect when you first start reading this short read. Some people may seem something that they are not and that's exactly the case here, with these two characters. Ever heard the saying, "Never judge a book by its cover", well that's all I'm saying. Jace and his Penny <3 OMG, this book made me cry from the very beginning, like sobbing so hard that my mom thought something had happened to me in my bedroom but after I calmed down (being real here, it took me like 15 minutes) she looked at me like I had a screw loose in my head, lol, but that's me. When I get lost in a good story, I literally include myself into the story, like I'm living through everything the characters are too and feel the emotions that it's being portrayed throughout the story.
