This was a great short story with a lot of heat, steamy moments, some action, some angst, great secondary characters, united friends to support our main characters, Trista & Gavin, but above all, we get a beautiful happily ever after <3

I loved Trista & Gavin's chemistry ;) It was intense, hot, and steamy ;) I loved how Gavin was in control inside the bedroom ;) but outside, he gave Trista what she needed, to let her be strong and independent in front of others, especially since she was young to be President of Noryln at age 25; so she needed to be strong, resilient, and capable to be Noryln people's President after her father's death... there's a lot of twists and surprises in this short story that revolves around Trista's father's death, but I won't spoil it for you guys, so go read this, you won't regret it :)

I also can't wait to read the stories about the secondary characters, who MK Moore said we'll get their stories too, which I'm super excited about! :)

I loved the epilogues so much! <3
We get to read about how their love is still going strong after decades together (20 years together and 27 years in total with the 7 years of being apart). Trista and Gavin made a beautiful family together <3 and Gavin mentioned in the second epilogue that even over the years, they've had their ups and downs as any couple would have but they persevered, stayed strong and true to their love, always together <3

This was a beautiful short story by MK Moore and I'm glad to have read this because it made my day, which didn't start great, but this definitely made my day :) <3
