An awesome conclusion to our beloved series, Adair Empire <3


I've been waiting to read the last book of this series since reading Carver: Past Lies, which is Carver and Meadow's story but we also get to read about the other characters from the series and see how they are doing. By the end of Carver, I was bawling my eyes out, especially with that cliffhanger we were left with. I was like, "WHY!?"


Luckily, we get to read this last book to give us answers to all of the unanswered questions we were left with and I got to say, I was shocked, frustrated, ecstatic, angry, happy... well I was a ball of different emotions and I couldn't put my kindle down not even for a second because this  had me enthralled and focused on this story.

Can't give spoilers to you guys because I don't want to ruin this for you guys and also ruin what a great ending to the Adair Empire but this was everything I hoped it would be for what is one of my favorite series :) 

There are a lot of twists and I didn't expect and neither will you...

The main characters are so different yet they're the same too. Danika, I felt for that girl so much. She's been through hell for years and she felt unworthy of love and felt dirty but the obstacles she had to overcome to finally have the love she deserved to have all along was worth it because it was such a beautiful thing to read about how she finally got the happy ending she thought she would never get. I was so happy for her <3

Dimitri is a complicated man to get to know too...

KL Donn outdid herself with this story :) The emotions that out-poured from the main characters were so raw, so real and I felt it deep within my heart. I felt their pain, their sorrow, their hope, their resignation, their love for one another and at the end, after battling the obstacles barreling their way towards them, they won and FINALLY got their happily ever after and what a beautiful happy ending it was :)
