I'm going to be honest and say that I've always been a huge fan of Alexa Riley's stories, both short and long ones (no pun intended, ha, ha) and she definitely gave us, her readers, her fans, another amazing read with our favorite possessive, protective and tender hot alpha males and our heroines who are super lucky to get these man for forever and make beautiful families with them and find that love that everyone wishes they could be fortunate enough to find and keep <3
This story's plot is somehow different from the rest of AR's stories but still great all the same. Our heroine has memory loss and let's be honest, I'm glad she and Orlando met and he rescued her when that happened because let me tell you guys, Lucy has not had an easy life at all!
But our sexy caveman and at the same, teddy bear, Orlando gave her the safety and protection that her soul needed and even with her memory loss she recognized that and when she did remember, she didn't care about anything but staying with her Orlando and vice versa <3 <3
Orlando was possibly one of my favorite alpha males that AR has written so far. He hasn't had it easy either and is not usually the type of man to show much emotion but when he meets, Lucy aka his little one, by the way, I loved that nickname :), he felt all these emotions he's never felt for a woman and he will do anything to make sure no harm comes for the woman that's made his heart really skip a beat for the first time in his, his possessive and protective instincts flare and his soul recognizing it's counter-part <3
There are some battles they must overcome but their instant connection to each other was there from the beginning even with Lucy's memory loss and still maintained being there when she recovered her memory. Nothing was going to change what she felt for Orlando and the same was for Orlando <3
Also, loved how Orlando didn't take advantage of the situation concerning Lucy's memory loss, on the contrarily, he did everything in his power to find out if there was anyone wanting to harm is woman and at the end, he succeeded :)
Orlando and Lucy's chemistry was seriously off the charts hot, sexy and at the same tender and and extremely passionate with plenty of dirty talk ;)
