When I first read the blurb of this story, I was intrigued but when I read this story, it literally broke my heart in pieces. There were scenes where I cried for Fae, for Ren, basically for everyone. Fae and her family, especially her sisters, hadn't had it easy at all. Their father is a despicable man and I can't wait 'till he gets what's coming to him; but that's a long way because Fae has many siblings and I think each one will get their own story and I'm both super excited and nervous because I know each story is going to have heartache, angsty scenes and full of emotion just like Ren and his woman, Fae's story.

 I definitely can't imagine having to leave the man of your dreams, the love of your life and your newborn baby just so your father doesn't try to hurt them. Ren and Fae were separated for 8 long years, longing for one another... yet Ren never gave up... he searched for the love of his life and the mother of his son, also building the home she always said she wanted. I loved that about him. He was devoted to her memory no matter what and kept her alive for their son, who already knew about his mother and loved her. Now, that was an emotional scene for me to read because when Fae and her son, Tony meet for the first time, I cried both happy tears because they're finally together and sad tears for all the time and memories lost. 

There's so much going on in this story that it will make your head spin, it will also make you feel angry, frustrated, flushed, happy, screaming at the top of your lungs both in joy and once again, anger but most of all, happy that Fae was reunited with her beloved family but also anticipating the next story because it sounds intriguing and talking by experience since I already read the second book of the series, "The Life She Wished For", it will leave you wanting so much more!
